IDS-342GT (+) is an innovative serial networking server that provides 4 RS-232/422/485 serial ports to 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, supporting multiple working modes: Virtual Com, Serial Tunnel, TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP. In addition, the Windows network management software DS Tool can configure multiple serial port networking servers and set up Virtual Com mapping at once. IDS-342GT (+) can simultaneously send data to 5 redundant hosts to avoid Ethernet interruptions or host computer failures. In addition, IDS-342GT (+) supports HTTPS, SSH, and SSL encryption to ensure critical data transmission.
IDS-342GT (+) supports 12~48VDC redundant power input to ensure uninterrupted operation. Supports a wide temperature range of -40~70 ℃, with an IP30 protection level, and can work in harsh environments. Not only that, IDS-342GT (+) also provides one P.D. port (ETH2), fully compatible with IEEE802.3af PoE, saving the wiring cost of on-site power lines. Therefore, IDS-342GT (+) is a solution for serial device networking applications.
